Swanson’s is an institution in Chicago’s Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood, and a chief reason we’ve endured is our commitment to our customers. When professional Chef Greg Dix took over Swanson’s in 2016, he understood that. He grew up in Beverly and knew that customers would want to keep the deli’s chicken salad and other beloved items on the menu. At the same time, he retooled the offerings to ensure every item was made from scratch using fresh ingredients. Greg listened to customer feedback and kept tweaking the offerings till he got them right. It’s a recipe that’s worked well for us and keeps us going strong.
